Jacq found in the book of Romans that as Christians we’ve actually been married twice. In actuality we are married to Christ, but in our experience we often seem to be apart from Him even though we don’t desire to be.

Our new husband is the Lord as the Spirit in us who supplies us daily to walk according to the Spirit.
