Why does the way we pray often effect our faith? Many of us have some experience in praying to God, and we’ve probably also had the experienced of our faith being weakened at some point. This often becomes a struggle to Christians. Mark 11:24 shows the way we need to pray in order to have our faith strengthened.

This post reminded me of some verses in Romans 4 about Abraham: “But with regard to the promise of God, he did not doubt in unbelief, but was empowered by faith, giving glory to God and being FULLY PERSUADED that what He had promised He was ABLE also to do” (vv. 20-21). Our God is faithful, and our God is able. Praise Him!
That’s a great verse! We too can be FULLY PERSUADED in our prayer to the Lord.
Amen. I never really saw this before but now I do. I graduated this summer and have been struggling with trusting the Lord fully but this past week has been such a blessing and this video has definitely helped me to pray and then praise Him. Hallelujah!
Thanks so much David. That is really our hope, that the posts and information people would find at EachOneHas would cause them to pray and praise God!
There was a key point in the video which made it real. It was when you mentioned something like:”And when the Lord says NO, and decides not to give us what we ask for in our prayer, that we just move on, and keep praying for other things in continued faith”. That realisation that God says NO to us as well, showed a truthful “Balance” of reality. ……..If that was not in there, then it would not explain why Christians (those of the general principals Apostolic creed) do not have “significantly” any more prosperity than other religions, or non religious people in the Western world; and yet still have family problems, and still have curve balls thrown at their lives, and still have life struggles of physical, mental and some spiritual challenges, all while still praying, and knowing that Jesus is the Son of God and is our saviour from human sin when we repent. That balance is often is what causes us to analyse what the God to human true balanced effectual meaning is when Jesus said that whatever we pray for will be given us in faith and used the example of “moving a mountain” to send us the message of the power of prayer.
In recent science (God’s laws discovered by man), it is also proved that our mind’s thoughts send our energy vibrations into the atmosphere (the world) that affect what is therefore around us; and books have been written of the “Law of Attraction”, and this concept can also be part of what God is telling us about prayer too, that our normal self beliefs effect our lives through one of His omni-potent, omni-present laws.
HE also may want a different destiny for us that what WE envision our destiny to be, so that will also affect our human satisfaction of our “answered prayer” ideas.
So what Now that all this info. is here??
