All Christians find themselves in difficult situations at some point in their lives; the Lord often allows them because in them we can find Christ. As we go through situations, we can find and gain Christ in particular ways which becomes such a satisfaction to us and eventually to others too. Like Robin mentioned, the Christ that he had experienced was also for others; this way of sharing Christ with others builds them up.

Got something to say? Go for it!
I love seeing Robin actually sharing in a Christian meeting where “each one has” (1 Cor. 14:26). It’s real Robbie! Christ is building His church indirectly through every member of His Body.
His sharing was very refreshing to me too. I’m sure all those who were there were built up. It’s also great to see that this practice of “each one having” is taking place in India too; this gives the Lord a way to grow and spread in a prevailing way there don’t you think?
Someone told me the Christian life is a series of hills and valleys. During times where we are on top of the hill we see so clear and there is little between us and the Lord, but only in the valleys is where the most water flows. Praise the Lord we can gain Christ in every situation!
Yes Paige, it’s wonderful that we can find and gain Christ in our valley experiences. When our situations look outwardly daunting, it’s often there where the Lord becomes so real and sweet to us in them. May we keep open to Him in these times and keep looking away unto Jesus (Heb 12:2).
Amen! I appreciated that we can find Christ in every situation. Each situation gives us the opportunity to go to the Lord and touch His throne in prayer and be built up with the other members of the Body of Christ!
It’s such wisdom of the Lord that through our seemingly negative situations, we become open to Him, we submit to Him, our hearts often become softer and like you said, we get built up with other members of Christ’s body. We can find Christ in any situation!
