Isaac sings out his desire that the Lord would be “nearer each day” to him in his experience. A great song for private time with God, that will freshly stir your affections for Him.

This week I’ve been overwhelmed with school work and all the busyness at UT but I was really refreshed to hear this song and just cast all my cares on the Lord.
So good that we can cast “all [our] anxiety on Him because it matters to Him concerning [us]” (1 Peter 5:7). Songs like this really help, strengthen, and supply us in our faith. Enjoy Him in your day-to-day Rebecca!
I was recently going through a hard time, with matters of my human life, as we all do. This song got me through it, Praise the Lord! Singing these words, and just being reminded constantly… The Lord say’s in John 14:14 “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.”
Many times we are impatient and pray for something, and we don’t think the Lord is answering our prayers, but it’s only because we have no patience! It’s all in His timing!
The Lord also says: “I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you.” John 14:18
So, in reading this we come to realize that, no matter what… we are taken care of by our Lord! It might not be in the way we think, but He is taking care of us! Praise the Lord! We are being taken care of by such a loving person! These words: “trust in me and You’ll see, that I’ll supply ALL YOUR NEEDS, if only you will BELIEVE!” We just have to believe! We cant believe out of ourselves, but we have this Christ who will help us believe! I just love this Jesus, He’s AWESOME!
John 14 is so applicable here. How comforting these verses are in light of our experience with God!
Yes He is faithful to supply all our needs, and He’s also our faith to believe that He’ll do it. That’s why we’re called “believers” because we don’t live by what we see or trust in our outward situations, we believe because He is our faith. Keep enjoying being joined to Christ as your faith in all that you’re going through!
